Richard Rediker founded Rediker in 1979. He was a high school chemistry teacher who wanted a better method of tracking class attendance. He wrote a program that addressed his problem without using pen and paper. It was purchased and refined into a complete student information system by AdminPlus. Currently, Rediker Software is headquartered in Hampden, Massachusetts and has roughly 100 employees. It also has offices in Dubai and India.
